The Scout accomplishes this with its use of modern materials and its unique design features. Starting with the heart of this rifle the Steyr Scout has a cold hammer forged barrel that is fluted for reducing weight and threaded for adding a muzzle break of NFA device. The barrel is mounted the high quality action and is surrounded by a Picatinny style scope rail with integrated flip up sights. The action and barrel are then carefully installed into the unique stock that comes with an integrated bipod.
